My writing journey was pretty unconventional, starting in grade school where I created short stories on my old, oversized desktop computer. However, by the time I was in high school, my hobby was outweighed by the *need* to choose a career path that would (for the lack of better words) pay the bills.

Fast forward to the life an indecisive nineteen year old, my GPA as a psychology major was suffering, and I followed my heart into the university’s English department. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English/Professional Writing two years after.

Looking back while in my thirties, I truly had no idea where I wanted to be but knew that I wanted to write. I have finally allowed myself to follow the path that has tugged at my heart from over twenty years ago.
